Te Puru management is delighted to announce the return of Pilates instructor Juliet Lloyd to the Centre, with her classes commencing in June.  Juliet is a very well qualified Pilates instructor who brings a wealth of experience as an athlete/dancer to enhance her understanding of the mechanics of the body.

Juliet began her career as a professional dancer, from 1985 to 2002 she had various contracts working as a dancer and/or acrobat in Spain, America, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Africa, London, Finland, & Denmark. From 2001 to 2003 Juliet retrained as a Pilates teacher in the Body Control Pilates Method, regarded as the most comprehensive course of its kind, and subsequently taught Pilates group classes to the ballet dancers of the London Central School of Dance, Body Control Pilates studio in David Lloyd in Kensington and Gordon's Studio in Knightsbridge. Since arriving in New Zealand she has continued to tutor both classes and individuals in Pilates.

Pilates is a series of exercises which target the deep postural muscles, building strength from the inside out, rebalancing the body and bringing it into correct alignment. It is perfect for athletes looking to improve their performance and avoid injury and it is also ideal for first time exercisers. It is especially recommended by medical specialists for those with back problems.

Day: Monday Morning
Time: 9:00am - 10:00am
Cost: $135 per term - Booking Essential!
