Who is Eligible to Play?

Juniors Start at Year 5 or those that turn 9 between the 1st of January ans the 31st of December of that playing year.
Note: birth certificates for 9 year olds must be sighted at the HPNC registration night.
College Caters for college girls, tech and university students.
Seniors Caters for students, school leavers, those in the work force or homemakers.

Training

Takes place between the end of March and August, on a night and time selected by the coach and team.
Training can take place at local schools, Te Puru Community Centre hall and the recently completed floodlit Netball Courts.

Kiwi Netball

Kiwi Netball takes place approximately October/November at the Te Puru Netball courts. The objective of Kiwi Netball is to let your daughter experience netball, learn basic skills and see if she likes the game. Kiwi Netball is open to all girls who are eligible to play the following season and the cost is approximately $15.00.

Fundraising

There will be a need for all players to be involved in fundraising this year. Your coach will give you details about this.

Club Rules & Expectations for all players

* NO Jewelry
* Hair tied up and back from the face
* Nails cut short to the required length before you get onto the courts
* Correct club uniform at all times - Navy Blue Polo Fleece Sweatshirt (optional), Navy knickers, Club socks

We have a few small 2nd hand sweatshirts for $25.00 or new larger sizes for $45.00. See Jenny Chapman.

Auckland harbour bridge opened

The original four-lane Auckland harbour bridge was built between St Marys Bay on the city side and Northcote Point on the North Shore, crossing the narrowest part of Auckland Harbour. It had taken four years to complete.
