Maraetai Tennis Club is a friendly, family oriented club located at Te Puru Park, offering a fun tennis experience for the local community. We have a clubroom and 4 hardcourt surface courts with floodlighting for night play.

 

Registration Days

The 2010/2011 season is about to get underway. Registration is at our clubrooms at Te Puru Park on:

Sunday 12th September from 2-4pm
Thursday 16th September from 6-8pm

Club Play

Seniors
Monday mornings 9am-11am
Tuesday evenings 7pm-9pm
Wednesday mornings 9am-11am
Saturday mornings 9am-11am

Juniors & Intermediates
Tuesday evenings 6pm-7pm
Saturday mornings 9am-11am

 

Coaching

Coaching is provided for all abilities on Thursday afternoons and evenings as part of your membership fees. Coaching starts on Thursday 14th October.

Beginners
 3.30pm-4.15pm
Junior 1  4.15pm-5.15pm
Junior 2  5.15pm-6.15pm
Intermediates  6.15pm-7.15pm
Seniors  7.15pm-8.15pm

 

Summer tennis runs from September right through to Easter. We continue to play Tuesday evenings in winter, weather permitting.

Auckland harbour bridge opened

The original four-lane Auckland harbour bridge was built between St Marys Bay on the city side and Northcote Point on the North Shore, crossing the narrowest part of Auckland Harbour. It had taken four years to complete.
