Te Puru Community Centre is situated in the Beachlands/Maraetai area. It was officially opened on the 29th of April 2005 by Sir Barry Curtis. This night was enjoyed by our VIP and invited community guests. On the 8th & 9th of May we had our public opening day seeing around 6,500 people through the centre.

The centre is a result of the foresight, dedication and generosity of many people in the Beachlands Maraetai community who have contributed over 30 years, towards the building of the facility.

We have a range of sports which alternate through the summer and winter seasons to cater for preschool children through to our senior citizens.
