Trustees Required
The Te Puru Community Charitable Trust -your local sports grounds, clubrooms and community venue hire – is recruiting NOW for new Trustees. The Trust is a community based, self-governing, non-profit, charitable organisation responsible for the administration and operation of the Te Puru Community Centre. this opportunity will give you the chance to use your skills to make a significant contribution to your local community.
The role can be very challenging at times but is also extremely interesting and rewarding. Trustees meet every month on the third Tuesday from 7pm – 9pm. The role of a trustee is voluntary.
We are seeking new Trustees with a diverse range of skills and are especially interested in anyone with a financial and legal background. A full Trustee profile can be provided, and further details of the role can be obtained from the Centre Management. A list of current Trustees is also available, and you are welcome to discuss the role with any of them.
