Gymnasts use small handheld apparatus to learn new skills and develop coordination.
Ribbon is perhaps the most recognised apparatus and is used to perform spirals and other patterns in the air.
A rope is a dynamic apparatus for skipping and leaping through in addition to releasing and catching one end.
The ball is for more fluent movements of rolling on the floor or body as well as bounces and throws.
In class routines are taught and performed to music either with or without apparatus.
The classes are suitable for beginners and girls with some dance or gymnastic experience.
