Our Supporters

Te Puru Community Centre was built by the community for the community.  The Te Puru Community Trust owns the building, while the grounds are owned and run by Auckland Council.  As well as sports facilities, our centre offers and supports a range of community projects and activities.

The Te Puru Community Centre forms part of the Auckland Councils Facilities Network. As a result, 33% of the Trust’s funding comes from the Council Community Access Grant which enables us to provide activities and spaces for the community to engage in active sport and recreation.

The remaining funding required to operate the facility, approximately $200,000, comes from affiliation fees, facility usage, school holiday programme, term gymnastics programmes, birthday parties, sponsorship, food and beverage sales, room hire and general usage.

We continue to provide and maintain a first-class sporting and recreation activity venue for the community – and every time you visit us, use or hire our facilities, join in sports and activities, purchase food or drink, the centre benefits.  Thank you for your continued support – see you soon!

We are very grateful for all the support we receive.
