We have the following vacancies at Te Puru. Come and join our expanding team and work in one the most beautiful locations – right on the beach.
TRUSTEES REQUIRED
The Te Puru Community Charitable Trust has vacancies on its governance board.
The Trust is a community based, self-governing, non-profit, charitable organisation responsible for the administration and operation of the Te Puru Community Centre. The role of a trustee is voluntary. Trustees are responsible for the governance, direction, performance and meeting the objectives detailed within the Trust Deed. The Trust meets at Te Puru every month.
The role is extremely interesting and rewarding. To be an efficient operator, the Trust needs a range of skills from its Trustees (business; sales and marketing; governance; financial control; and communication). The Trust also seeks to maintain a strong gender and ethnic balance. This opportunity will give you the chance to use your skills to make a significant contribution to the local community.
A full Trustee profile can be provided, and further details of the role can be obtained from the Trust Secretary. A list of current Trustees is also available, and you are welcome to discuss the role with any of them.
Registration of Interest, including a summary of skills and experience, should be sent to:
Te Puru Trust, P.O. Box 134, Beachlands
or email: secretary@tepuru.co.nz
Registrations of Interest closes: Friday 27 June 2025
