The Te Puru Community Charitable Trust needs new Trustees to act on its governance board. This opportunity will give you the chance to use your skills to make a significant contribution to the local community.
What is the Role of a Trustee?
The Trust is a community based, self-governing, non-profit, charitable organisation responsible for the administration and operation of the Te Puru Community Centre.
The role of a Trustee is voluntary.
Trustees are responsible for the governance, direction, performance and meeting the objectives detailed within the Trust Deed.
The Trust meets at Te Puru every month.
The role is extremely interesting and rewarding.
What Skills Do You Need?
The Trust needs a range of skills from its Trustees (business; sales and marketing; governance; financial control; and communication).
The Trust also seeks to maintain a strong gender and ethnic balance.
The Trust welcomes registrations of interest from people who are clear communicators, friendly, and who care about our local community.
